Would you trust your security to a process that no one has validated?
In aviation, there is no room for improvisation. Every flight, every maneuver, every safe landing is the result of absolute precision and rigor. At Grupo DAS, we understand that trust is not improvised; it is built on an unwavering commitment to quality and the most demanding processes.
We are dedicated to the design of instrument flight procedures (IFP) under ICAO's PANS-OPS regulations and offer tailored operations engineering solutions for airlines. Our experience has allowed us to master the design of RNP AR (Required Navigation Performance) procedures, the cutting edge of modern navigation that enables shorter, safer, and more efficient routes.
We are the guardians of quality in Argentina.
A flight procedure is not a simple stroke on a map. It's a complex life cycle that demands a fail-safe quality assurance system. That's why, at Grupo DAS, we not only design procedures, but we are the only company in Argentina with generation and maintenance processes certified to meet the global standards of ICAO Document 9906.
This manual is not a simple guide; it is the cornerstone of safety in procedure design worldwide. Its volumes define a meticulous process:
Volume I: Establishes the complete quality assurance system.
Volume II: Defines the rigorous training that each designer must undergo.
Volume III: Focuses on software validation, ensuring that each calculation is accurate.
Volume V: Guides flight validation, the final test that confirms the procedure's viability in the air.
Volume VI: Details the training and evaluation of validation pilots, the experts who approve a procedure in the air.
Experience vs. Risk
The market is full of options, but safety isn't a game of chance. Would you hire an inexperienced surgeon for a life-or-death operation? Would you commission the construction of a skyscraper to an architect who doesn't follow building codes? The logic is the same. Experience and validated results are the only guarantee.
It's not enough to say that standards are met. We have the processes, experience, and traceability that demonstrate our commitment to excellence.
We don't just design procedures; we build the trust that keeps your business on track.
Choose certainty. Choose quality. Choose Grupo DAS.
We are a validated IFPD Organization
Procedures that meet the highest standards.
At Grupo DAS, we don't just design flight procedures. We develop, validate, document, and continuously improve them under a comprehensive system that meets all the requirements for recognition as an Instrument Flight Procedure Design (IFPD) Organization, in accordance with ICAO Doc. 10066.
Every step we take is supported by robust technical documentation, auditable processes, and an absolute commitment to operational safety.
Our documentary structure: a guarantee of transparency and quality
IFPD Operations Manual (IFPD-MO)
It precisely defines our organizational structure, technical responsibilities, workflows, design methodology, validation, and maintenance procedures. It is our operational roadmap, based on the recommendations of Doc. 10066.
Quality Management System (QMS)
Based on ISO 9001:2015 and Doc. 9906 Volume I, it guarantees traceability, document control, internal audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement. Each procedure is audited before delivery. There is no room for error.
Safety Management System (SMS)
Integrates the IFP design into a systemic risk approach. We assess threats from the planning phase and implement active mitigations, in accordance with the guidelines of Doc. 9859.
Personnel Training and Competency Plan
We apply the standards defined in Doc. 9906 Vol. II and Vol. VI. All our designers, ground validators, flight validators, and technical supervisors are trained and evaluated with documented OJT, simulations, recurrent training, and verifiable records.
Validation, control and mitigation: rigor without shortcuts
For us, critical inputs such as terrain data, obstacles, navigation aids, or design platforms are not used without prior validation. In compliance with Doc. 10066, we apply a strict analysis and traceability methodology:
-
We verify sources against integrity and reliability standards.
-
We classify potential operational risks.
-
We apply documented mitigation measures if a source does not fully comply (e.g., data supplementation, additional margins, cross-checks).
-
All steps are recorded and audited according to the QMS.
Our procedures are not based on assumptions, but on verified data, audited sources, and controls that withstand any technical or regulatory review.
